ho ho ho...yes, i'm still around, but about to call it a day. i just saw that the bull percentage in the AAII poll has now gone to 61%, down from 69% two weeks ago, and only the third highest reading this year. but the absolute wake-up call is that there are only 14% bears left, which is in fact the lowest bear percentage of the entire year! so individual and institutional investors alike are now almost uniformly bullish by these measures (institutional measured by ISI with over 80% bulls), and Rydex asset distribution shows that 75% of Rydex bull assets have cast their lot with - you guessed it probably - technology of all things! this has me now absolutely convinced that the eventual wipe-out low in the Nasdaq will be one for the Guinness book of records, rivaling the 1722 South Seas bubble collapse. on that happy note, good nite!
