Exactly, well said neo. Celebrating the uniqueness of all our cultures should be our goal, not fear and oversensitivity.

The point those on the left don't seem to grasp when you drive down this road, is the road is endless. Anyone can claim they are *offended* by something.

The Constitution doesn't say we have a right to not be offended. If we're that sensitive of another persons cultural traditions, then we should look inward toward what is really bothering us.

The insistence that "Merry Christmas" somehow degrades another person and thus should be removed from our public speech, is a symptom of a deep seated hatred toward christianity and our national heritage. Instead of celebrating that our land is inhabited by christians, they simply believe it is an ugliness which should be removed.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And leftists like Ron Sims cannot understand how another person would think the words "Merry Christmas" are beautiful.

There is only one thing worse then insensitivity, that's oversensitivity.
