Good morning JT, short CPN! ggg

Yep, the cloned lines don't stay parallel, I have complained to Qcharts to no avail. Berney and I are great believers in parallelism, so I will frequently chart stuff on IQcharts and get it where we want it and then move it to quotecom.

The DMAs are really Interval Moving Averages, i.e., if you have the thing set up on 20 "DMA", you get a 20 period moving average. So if you're on a daily chart you have a 20 day moving average, and if you shift to a 60 minute chart you have a 20 hour/(60 minute) moving average, and so on.

The lines are there you just have to look for them. ggg Yeah, when you shift from the 5 minute chart to the weekly the lines can be skewed a bit. It has to do with the math on a per pixel basis. For the most part the important ones aren't too bad IMHO. The charts I posted on Angelfire were drawn on the weekly first and refined on the daily and hourly until I was satisfied. I don't go any lower than that in time, because of inherent accuracy problems. If I draw trend lines on the 5 and 15 minute charts they are usually gone and I take them out in a short period of time. BTW, I use a different colour line for these temporary lines so that I don't confuse them with the long(er) term trend lines.

The wandering line issue, I wander (gg) if you really have them attached. If you miss the attach point they will do as you say, but if you are careful and put the box on the tip of the candle wick it stays put (at least on mine it does).
If you grab it on a line you can screw things up also, so one needs to be careful where you grab it to scroll or pan around.

Hope this helps, BTW it might help if you fire off an email to the Qchart clowns and complain.
