Hi Mike. Indeed. Large PAAS buy early this week

(per post at that time) due in part to lease rate trends.

Timing, as we all know, is the devil in the details AFA the PM stocks are concerned. The sector has been notoriously defiant of conventional TA signals for some time now. About 15 months ago, I stopped trading them with TA and began work on something different. In the Spring, unveiled a non TA timing model for the gold sector with it's 1st buy signal in early April. It was very profitable. The 2nd signal was a few weeks ago.

<Gold is READY TO RUMBLE this week

OR next week AT THE LATEST !!!!!!!!

On top of very bullish gold COT showing huge net short covering by commercials while specs went net short for
the first time in many months? Kitco recorded a strong across the board increase in gold lease rates on Monday.

Ding ding ding....

Put on your rally hats, and let the good times roll.

Am I excited about gold right now? NAW<lol>

One of the things that I always do with my major calls is be very emphatic vs just expressing a casual opinion or after thought that nobody notices and later claim it was a market call. That doesn't help any of my friends here make money. And though discussion is interesting, I've been a full time professional investor since 1986 and making money is my primary focus.

So for fun as well as clarity<g> decided to make sure my posted calls are strongly worded to distinguish them from casual thoughts tossed around in ordinary discussion. I like the phrase "table pounding" which Slider coined some time ago.

Again welcome to our thread. Our core group has been very successful in identifying very important sector and market trend changes for more than a year now. We set this thread up 6 months ago to focus on building around that core. We've been making the SI top 10 hot topics list almost every week since in spite of our relative small size due to the fact we've been heavily book marked from months. We've also been very happy that SD II continues to attract many of SIs best posters.

Have exchanged msgs with you several times on other threads and hope you'll contribute here on a regular basis.

Welcome to SD II.
