not see the "better safe than sorry" The logical fallicy you make in this argument is known as the "law of the excluded middle". You assume that this star wars approach is the only approach, therefore it's star wars or nothing. There are many approaches to dealing with potential threats of ballistic missles. It was determined 30 years ago that this approach will not stop a determined enemy who can overwhelm the system, or a rogue enemy who has as much to gain from the attack itself whether it actually succeeds in hitting a target or not. It's no coincidence that Rumsfeld is pushing the system that will make the most money for the defense contractors who support him. TP
