Hi Diane,

5. Bre-X started exploration on the Taware prospect, Sangihe island, North Sulawesi at about the same time as Busang (Sept. 1993) Almost a year later, and after extensive exploration the Taware prospect was determined to be too small, (Best results were BXH-7 @ 282 ft of 1.27g/ton Au, BXH-9 @ 150 ft of 2.88g/ton Au), and exploration shifted to Kelapa and the Red Creek prospects. Subsquently, focus shifted from the Sangihe to Busang.

Now why would Bre-X want to salt cores from Busang only and not the cores from the Sangihe prospects. Doesn't make sense to salt cores from only one location. Why not drive the stock price really high and bail out.

6. At Busang. Bre-X drilled thousands of meters of core. Visual examination by many experts indicated that the core was well mineralized. Now I know that mineralized core is not indicative of the presence of gold, but the core was nevertheless mineralized. Were Strathcona's drilled cores also mineralized ? I would really like to know the metallurgical composition of Bre-X and Strathcona cores.

More Later,

Regards, Lalit Jain
