Hi Tom, and thanks for your detailed response.

I admit to being fairly green in this business and prompt those wiser and more knowledgeable to help me and other with answers - thank you.

>>>Money needs a place to go--and fortunately or unfortunately, at this time the place that money is going is into stocks. <<<

Mutual fund money has been flowing at a decreasing rate since 96. Money that fuels these high valuations. I think lots of investors have shifted cash and bond assets into stocks in the last year or two. The new money coming is from regular savings & retirement funds (which may be less due to increased consumer confidence & spending) I've done this myself.

If this is the case and the recent bull has been fueled by this kind asset reallocation and not new money, I think we have a problem. With new IPO's and 2nd offerings and money flows slowing we have a classic demand-supply problem, which could precipitate a correction. Beyond that who knows?

>>>>I learned a long time ago--the hard way-- that the easiest way to make money trading is to follow the trend <<<

I think this is why we had 48 posts after Bill's call. Pretty controversial - but Bill feels extremely confident in his indicators, and I salute him for sharing his ideas.

It is up to each of us to make our own decisions.

>>>In the meantime we need to accept what the market is telling us -- as opposed to us telling the market what it ought to do:) <<<

The fact that your visiting this thread tells me you a searching for information also. Do you have a call on the coming weeks if the INDU breaks thru a certain resistance point?

thanks,
bob
