Admittedly, I haven't had to deal with signal integrity issues for a while, which means all of my experience is at lower speeds. I do know that a 300MHz digital scope ain't going to give you anything useful at the speeds we are talking about here.

Thanks for the explanation of how they signals are being handled. Still the same issues, though. If I understand it properly, "reflected wave switching" would wind up using less power when things are static. Is that true?
