Well, actually, a football field is 55 yards wide. Depending on how you count the end zones, it can be 120 yards long. That's 59,400 square feet per football field.

The total comes to a little more than 13 football fields. If you don't include the end zones in the length, each football field is 49,500 square feet, and the total comes to 16 football fields.
