Got a kick out of this. Spot on too. <Most of the "evidence" for an economic rebound is derived from circular reasoning. The hope for an economic rebound has spurred the recent market rally, and the rally, in turn, is being taken as evidence that the economy is about to recover.> Carnival barkers, montebanks, and modern day snake oil salesman of W.S. with their tortured reasoning is circular alright. They look more and more like a pack of clown dogs chasing their own tails as fewer and fewer pay attention. And how could it be otherwise. Much the same thing happens during every major Bear Market. Once their vast herd of gullible clients has been decimated by their continuous cacophony of quack advice, there's less and less response to the high media profile pump and dump performances by the usual suspects.
