The Austrian definition of a monopoly, at least for Rothbard, is the original one, a government enforced privilege.

That is what I was talking about as well.

Since it can't have any direct competition, although it can have substitutes, only the maximum revenue price applies.

For the company yes, that want maximum revenue, but I think it would be better for the consumers and for the economy as a whole if the monopoly didn't exist. Not only would prices probably be lower, service is likely to be better (atleast for products or services where people care much about service) and the producers are likely to be more efficent (if you don't have to worry about competition you often get far and lazy even if doing is hardly maximizing your revenue).
