First of all, unless yo0ur a redneck, bud is clearly an insult to the many real beers in the world. Second, In any prior fed dealings, AMD was around. If they disappear, Intel may have more of a problem - real or perceived.
It's always gopod for perception to have a weak competitor or two around when one dominates (rightly) an industry.
Brew
Ya know what I find amusing Brew?? Most of the AMD fans think that intel wants to destroy AMD. Not so. When I talk to the "people" around me, we don't want to get rid of AMD. Not at all.
I haven't seen the people around me at work, so energized in years. We may have been asleep at the wheel in the past, but the sleeping giant is awake now. We kicked the crap out of Marketing, and Engineering is back in control now.... Best thing that could have happened to us. Thanks AMD. :-)
Not to mention that keeping AMD around keeps the DOJ off our back. Can't claim a Monopoly when ole Jerry is shooting his mouth off at every turn, trumpeting how his company is stealing our business..... Thanks AMD. :-)
Oh, and by the way..... All those claims about yield and bin split issues with P860.... Sorry..... Not True. I wish I could state the evidence, but I can't say how I know... I just do. Take it..... Or leave it......
Hey, If I'm right or wrong, I guess we'll know in Q1.....
:-)
