Yes... but on campuses, there is no such thing as a single minority group anymore. We used to have separate African-American groups, Hispanic groups, Asian groups, etc. Now we have
AAHANA groups...African American,Hispanic, Asian,North American groups. Maybe there is now an M in there for Muslim? There's safety and strength in numbers.

The sexual orientation groups do the same thing. You are not just a gay group or lesbian group...now you are an alternative orientation group...Gay, Lesbian, Bi, cross-dressers etc... Again, there is safety and strength in numbers.
