Re: Gus, admit it you are just totally mad at your miscalculation on Bush's stand on Arab-Israeli conflict, right?
Actually, Zionists'd better not count their chickens yet... Remember the whole chain of events that have dramatically impacted world geopolitics: up to mid-November, the US administration was rather even-handed as far as the Israeli/Palestinian conflict was concerned. After all, it was SHARON --not Arafat-- who blew a gasket, comparing the US with pre-WWII, wimpish Europe! Bush was on the brink of meeting Arafat... and the US forcefully demanded that Israel pull back from Palestinian land and never occupy it again.
Then came Israel's "reprisal": Mossad spooks in the US started the "anthrax blackmail" operation aimed at key (unfriendly) US policymakers. (Not to mention the AA crash in Queens, NY) Compounding Israel's refusal to start any negotiations with Arafat, Sharon INTENSIFIED the assassination campaign against Palestinian leaders, further wrecking any appeasement process. Eventually, GW Bush got cornered between his Arab/Muslim partners and his domestic, Jew-friendly constituency --American Jews still accuse him of having stolen the 2000 election....
But the real, immediate target of the Judeofascist lobby is actually Secr. of State Colin Powell: Jews don't like his pro-Arab leanings and especially not his fellow troubleshooter Anthony Zinni. Zinni's failure to come up with anything in the Middle East crisis will trickle up to Powell --and seriously impair his image/leadership.
