Hi wstera_02! Back in from the road. How's it going?
U asked what I was doing out in the coal mines in Wyoming.
Well, Tim, some of my work is unique. I'm not the typical lawyer. My specialty is due to my 20 plus years in those Corporate America days. My work takes me to a lot of places around the country. Sometimes when I get one of those phone calls that I sometimes mention on here, I've got to react quickly and go.
I represent management only. I help companies with problems. I mitigate issues. I dissect organizations. I'm the guy that management brings in to tell the CEO's and the Board of Directors things that management doesn't want to tell them themselves. I tell them how the cow eats the cabbage and what they have to do, right now.
I save them money if they do what I tell them to do. If they don't, then we end up in litigation a lot of times. Then I get to tell them "I told you so" and then I make more money.
I also bust unions. I'm the guy that gets the physical threats, has my vehicle damaged, my family threatened, family followed, those late night threatening phone calls, etc. and all that stuff that goes on in labor wars that you read or hear about and wonder if it really does happen. Well, it does.
The vast majority of folks tell me they would not have my job. Way too much pressure, conflicts, advisory events, etc., but I tell ya, I love it. Some say I thrive on that stuff. Guess I do.
So, that's what I was doing out there. Helping put out a fire.
Hope all is well with you my Friend.
Have a great weekend!
