I must concur here. Ever since MSFT got into the JIT business, their VM has been consistently the fastest out. And I have done the benchmarks, as opposed to you folks who confuse reality with what you hope to be true. All this talk about Netscape's VM prowess... what hooey marketing spin. The only reason the 4.0 VM is faster than the 3.0 VM is because they switched from licensing Borland's JIT to Symantec's. NSCP people, I dare you to get one of your VM programmers to post publicly about their Java efforts. Perhaps they will have a more difficult time maligning reality as you have as of late.
