Larry, Am I hearing this right. You stated you can't get a Fax with a DSL line? You are able to do this. Verizon gives you a Y-splitter in there standard kit which splits one line into two (similiar to cable splitter). You then put the DSL filter on the one line you want to take calls on or faxes on, it simply filters out the DSL signal. The other goes to your computer for the dsl (filterless). This is called a splitterless installation. Digital DSL travels like pulses on a different frequency than the wavelengh analog frequency over the copper line.
