Next year maybe. I think they might show Synerject as breakeven or better this year with increased Aprilia quantity and increased marine market share and Piaggio coming on. But I would guess that that would mostly be an accounting trick, transferring engineering costs to Orbital so that Synerject would appear more profitable and Siemens can maybe get the price they were looking for to divest a bit.

OCP really should dominate the scooter market, the Aprilia OCP scooters don't cost much more, are the fastest in the world, and have the fuel economy and emissions benefit. The clear and extreme superiority of OCP is what has caused the blindness of OEC's inbred management and most of their mistakes. They can't understand resistance to something so good and think the customers should all be beating a path to their door. And maybe they should, but the customers think they can make more money another way.

If you do a search on Aprilia Ditech in google newsgroups, you can see that the Ditech scooters are generating good interest here in the US (though sometimes people don't know who makes them). See for example the thread below:

groups.google.com

People want this product and Orbital's reputation has to be steadily advancing as a wonderful, almost necessary internal combustion engine improvement.
