CDMA has clearly outdistanced TDMA (and I assume finally AMPS) as the dominant technology in North America.
CDMA closed the gap slightly with GSM.

1. GSM added 228.6 million subs for 63.2% YOY growth.
2. TDMA added 28.6 million subs for 53.5% YOY growth.

Last year at end of Q3 TDMA replaced CDMA as "Fastest Growing technology". Early this year GSM moved into the lead for the first time since 1996.
