I think there are some major OEMs still selling a few Athlon systems though they are probably just tokens. My experience is similar though to what you describe. Athlon systems are flakey and everybody I know who has an Athlon has had one problem or another. It just goes with the territory. You get a cheap system so you just have to live with these problems. Is that really so bad considering the price savings?
