Inflation? Yes, I've heard that Greenspan may increase interest rates next year. He doesn't have a great deal of room to lower rates.. Also, individuals will have to borrow money to contribute to their Retirement Plans if the government selects the privatization option. The hope is that they will invest wisely enough to have a profit after they pay back the people that they who loan them the borrowed money. But it is hard to beat the market for most people, isn't it?

How much can the economy expand when so many people lose jobs? Last week American Express
laid off 6,500 workers. And I heard Quest will lay off 7,000 people. What will people do when their
unemployment insurance runs out? What will they do for health care?

Bush's tax cut that helped the rich more than any other group was a mistake!
Because of that tax cut and the war, we don't have money to help people out in these
difficult times.
