Hi, Frank - "Any idea what speeds they'll be supporting?"

No; I wish I did. Wi-LAN inked a W-OFDM deal with Telia a while back; if the deal is still alive, then the unshared data transmission rate could be as high as ~30 mbps. W-OFDM is scalable, so that is a realistic figure, in the sense that it can be maintained.

I think that deal was slated for 2.4 GHz; it seems more likely that this deal would be in licensed frequency, ie., ~3.5 GHz.

However, there are any number of other possibilities: 802.11b, 802.11a, 802.11x...

Apologies for vagueness: the future of OFDM is wrapped in mystery, these days. Perhaps some of the other excellent contributors can shed some light.

Regards,

Jim
