Jake Bernstein - Momentum Trading: Not to tell you how to do things, just to let you know how I use Bernstein's DSIs. If I can get the underlying trend right with my leading indicators, and they tell me the trend is close to its end, I use contrarian indictors to try to get as close as possible to the final high or low. Jake Bernstein's measures of trader sentiment are the most accurate contrarian mechanisms for pinpointing the peak or trough - if I get the overall trend right, because there's virtually no publication lag and they're published daily about one hour after the close.
