Personally, I think Sherman needs to start preparing for next season as well as give us a chance this season. He needs to play Ferguson and Driver more than he has. Start those two, or at least get them significant playing time. They have studied enough, practiced enough...time to see if they can perform. We need a wideout threat so much, that just tossing them in now would be smart I think. See if they can stick. Besides what are giving up by sticking them in? Freeman? LOL! Schroeder? Well, I could agree a bit on that one, but even there, a good number 2 is all he is.....

Also, that gives us some experience at the receiving position going into next year. Then we can pull a Ron Wolf and draft three receivers with our first three picks.

Then we will have a shot at being a great team. Until then, Brett and Green cannot get it done alone. Brett needs a go to guy. A Sterling Sharpe (as much as I dislike him as a person, he was the MAN!).

Until then, we will just be another good football team.
