MPEG2 news...

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 30,1997--An agreement between TriTech
Microelectronics Inc., Milpitas, Calif., a unit of Singapore Technologies, and InnovaCom, Inc.,
(OTC/BB:MPEG) has been completed whereby TriTech will enter into a partnership with
InnovaCom to become the ASIC supplier for InnovaCom's DVImpact single chip MPEG-2
compressed video encoder.

Mark Koz, InnovaCom's President and Chief Executive Officer, said the company had issued a
purchase order that will permit TriTech to begin producing the chip.

"TriTech will provide us with full support in implementation of the new chip, including engineering
personnel, to assist in accelerating the program. We have completed the initial testing, including
running video through our chip model. We continue to believe our developmental process is ahead
of any competitor and expect initial deliveries to begin the first quarter of 1998," Koz said.

TriTech is a member of the semiconductor group of Singapore Technologies, a multi-billion dollar
technology-based multinational conglomerate with more than 17,000 employees worldwide.
"TriTech is unique in that it is able to provide the design function, wafer fabrication, plus test and
assembly capabilities-- a combination that few organizations can match. And the presence of the
design center a few minutes away will permit us fast turnaround in the design process," Koz said.

Separately InnovaCom announced last week that its Sierra Vista Entertainment division, which
produces movies utilizing both film and digital technologies, would produce seven feature-length
movies during the next 18 months with a potential projected revenue of $40 million.

It also announced that its Technical Systems Associates subsidiary had recently shipped $500,000 in
antenna systems to Israel and the U.S. Navy at China Lake, Calif.
