Aged 49 years, Kevin Maloney is an investment banker having spent some 20 years with the ANZ Banking Group acting as Senior Liaison Officer for some of Australia's largest manufacturing companies. His previous appointments include General Manager of Elders Finance Group (until 1992), Australia's then largest merchant bank. As Chief Executive Officer, he established Elders Resources Finance Limited, a project and acquisitions financier of emerging and mid-market natural resource companies whose international lending book grew to $620 million in such industries as gold, silver, coal, oil, gas, uranium and forestry. Mr. Maloney established Elders Resources Finance Inc., a New York corporation, in September 1986 and oversaw its success as a highly profitable merchant banking operation to the resource sector in North America. During the course of his career with Elders Resources Finance Group, both in Australia and North America, Mr. Maloney was responsible for the approval and syndication of at least 100 mining projects for value of several billion dollars. Mr. Maloney is also currently Chief Executive Officer of Australian Resources Capital and Resources Capital Group, Inc. |
