Scott, I thought I was clear but I will re-state. The consumer would benefit when services and their underlying technology changes, for whatever reason. Once you buy a new piece of hardware, you are subject to its limitations, i.e., it may exclude new services, it may break, etc. On the other hand, if you can get such services from a centralized vendor and you've got a minimally compliant digital STB, then you don't worry about such details. ACTV is in no way competing with Tivo, and I was in no way attacking you. regards, -Lk
