In my town, there haven't been any noisy demonstrations or parades.
When I go to cub scouts with my 2nd Grader,
or Christmas parties,
patriotism and the war is not a topic of conversation.
What you see is flags.
Flags on kid's t-shirts.
Flags on car aerials.
Flags on front doors.
Flags on store-front windows.
Flags on the back of the PC, on the counter at the Ford dealer, when I go there to pick up a part.
Flags, suddenly everywhere.
