The United States most certainly was established with a Christian foundation.

To argue otherwise is pure sophistry. The founders of our nation were all Christians and the churches that were established in the colonies were all of Christian denominations. There were virtually no exceptions to this for at least the first hundred years of our nation's existence. The first amendment to the Constitution simply says that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..." Activist, Liberal courts have twisted the intent of this statement to the point where the 80 percent majority of Christians in America today are told they cannot even celebrate Christmas in a town square. Where did the "free exercise" go? If you (or any other American) became a resident of a predominately Muslim country, would you feel you had the right to protest the exercise of Islamic rituals on their public grounds?
