Anyway, the fact is that he never insults people on the basis of race, creed, or color, and always objects when he runs across people who do, so the post was accurate, not funny. He doesn't even automatically insult people for having differing political views. I have seen him be quite friendly with an occasional liberal. But there are some posters, like Tigers Paw, where, over the years (and we have been arguing with him for years) he has lost the will to pretend he is dealing with someone who is worth arguing with. Anyone who makes libelous comments about the Bushes tends to arouse the same sort of contempt. Frankly, there just haven't been a lot of liberals worth arguing with for awhile on the Bush thread. I am unusual for having the patience to pretend that the person I am arguing with is capable of rational argument, and for being patient........ |
