ORCL did have some gimmicks and Larry survived. One thing is I think the big 5 become the big 4. I had a chance to go to AA a few years back and one of my concerns was their involvement with Colonial Reality in CT. Another 3 to 500 Million screwup (I can be off on the low side with this #).

While I feel ENE management did fraudlent acts I also feel AA was either grossly incompetent or they too were greedy and let the $$ cloud their judgement.

I think this puts AA in a death sprial. May take a couple of years to play out. They won't be able to recruit the best and brightest and their current best and brightest will be looking for other opportunities. Watch how many audit clients leave for the 2002 year.
