Crossy. Your honesty is appreciated. Speculative is ok. I'm hoping on adding plays of all types and rating them as to what type of play they are. Speculative plays are good for filling in the time and providing some excitement while waiting for value plays to hatch.

A question on MAXF. I noticed that they took full value for their insurance claim and included it in revenues although they haven't received payment yet. Apparently this is common, other firms have done the same thing, but I found it questionable.

There was a write-up in Crain's NY Business recently citing that the insurance companies have banded together to contest the loss of income claims due to 911 from Twin Tower financial firms. The issue is how did financial firms like MAXF calculate their loss from business interruption due to the terrorist attack?

MAXF admits to the uncertainty that they will receive 100% of their claim, stating so in their 10q. The insurance companies would agree with the uncertainty, having hired the firm of Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman and Dicker to investigate the issues.

A subsequent article, also appearing in Crain's NY Business, cited one analyst's research stating that over the past two months there has been a shift in market share away from the financial houses, including MAXF that had offices in the Twin Towers.

Do you see a future problem for MAXF, having already factored in as revenues payments that they have not received?
