Hi Brian,

Would you please keep posting those positive "commodity price stories" about the never to recover chip market.

If prices go up on commodity items what will happen to leadong edge IC's??

The reality is that all chips are being shippped at a faster rate. This has probably already resulted in a shortage or at least draw down of all inventory levels.

When commoditized products become in demand - then leading edge products are doing well also. This is the leading indicator of increased need for advanced manufacturing equipment.

If demand was only for the old stuff - then capacity would already exist. It is only until the demand for new high end products gets added to the old past designs - that consumption/prices of all chps goes up.

We are on the cusp of demand creating the need for new upgraded products. It is this occurrence that brings the truism to James Morgan's saying - " You've got to pay to play " and "When they realize the market has turned - they'll all come at once".

Any set back in price is a gift or it is the beginning of "Buy the Dips" "All over again".

My gut hunch is - it will be quicker than any doomsayer ever expected - just like it has been in past 4-5 cycles over the last two decades.

We're fixin to get rich!!!!!

If you're short - get long !!! If you're long GET MORE !!!!

To DA MOON !!!!

Bob
