Santiago, I think where the confusion commonly comes in here is that God lives outside of time. So if you take the time continuum away, that solves your problem. One could be with the Lord after they die, even though the second coming hasn't come yet! To God, the second coming has already happened, even though to us it is in the future. We are in the time continuum, God is not! And once we die, those who choose to reside with God will be outside of time as well! And scripture proves this out, that God is outside of the time restrictions we live in.... God Bless, IGIT
