Good Trading day today going short all the way
5 trades, all profitable; this tells me that, in spite of the 'UP' day on COMPX, there is deterioration in high fliers ongoing.
BRCD is easily the weakest of the bunch today, as EMLX and QLGC managed to recover from the gap lows. Not a coincidence that the 1.5 million insider share sales announced before the open helped move the momentum to Sell on BRCD.
Those gaps looming on these stocks charts make for excellent trading opportunities, interday, IMHO.
NTAP is an interesting case; the low from Friday held today, but MaxPain is WAY below current price; so I'll be watching for some weakness Tues/Wed to short into.
A trader must be nimble to play these stocks, long or short on a daytrade basis, but the volatility provides for rapid rewards.
I'd like to get a good SAR indicator working on these for daytrading, any ideas out there?
