I've only recently started investigating the use of the OEX for buying bull/bear spreads. I noticed that quote chains for the OEX include two symbols for each strike/expiration, the OEX and an additonal OEW which seems to be a little more expensive. For example, Jul 860 calls are listed as OEXGL and OEWGL. I've only dealt with stock options up till now and this has got me a bit confused. For the stupid question of the day: do you know what the difference is and which one I should be looking at?

Regards,

John
