Revelation says that we shall be in the Kingdom but without the gates there shall be the evil surrounding the City. Gnashing of teeth and contempt at Christ and His flock. Isn't that true today?
I wouldn't call it gnashing of teeth Santiago , more like a growing universal indifference to a very confused , mixed-up and distorted theology , that preaches ancient absurdities and espouses some very ridiculous concepts & cosmologies .
In short, little fairytales that were made up by frustrated primitive desert dwelling "prophets" , who's conquered tribe raised themselves in a missmash of legends, myths, and inherited stories from living under the rule of the great early cultures of Babylon or Egypt or
Hellenistic Greece and Zoroastrian Persia.
Do you have any idea how many goats and sheep were sacrificed on Altars for Jehova before the Temples in one day ? I think they managed 10 or 20,000 once .<g>
All those cultures and great societies didn't die away,
they became inherited in the minds , and lore of the tribes
that lived under their dominium . Judaism , and later Christianity are both derived from those .
Wake up and know your roots ...they are far more than just
burning bushes and baptism , and have only remained as
confused and infused with so many myriads of
influences to this day.
Do you really want to teach kids in school that Adam and Eve
lived happily in the Garden of Eden for a time , side by side with the Tyranasaurus Rex and the rest of the dinosaurs ? The rejection of these kind of teachings is
normal and natural and right , I'm really very sorry to

Christ, Elisha and Enoch were translated into Heaven. John was spiritually in the Kingdom until his death after Christ's spiritual return.

Jesus was One with the Father , then later he was heard to say he goes to be with his Father . Well he was only a man after all , and did have his own sets of confusions and passions , as did the entire rest of his tribe at that time to say the very least .
If Jesus and the Father were "ONE" , then he would have not
had to say later that he goes to be with him . They were
already joined together , Oui ?
Ultimately it is a question of being responsibly and compassionately "Free"...and with freedom from fear, ignorance and tyranny and with the cultivation Love & Truth and the ----->discrimination that leads him to discover those two , the kingdom of heaven appears .
Both to the individual and society together.
It is not the word "judging" that you really want to be using Santiago , but the more powerful and evolved word of discrimination . In reading the Gospels of Christianity one easily " discriminates " that whomever wrote the Gospel of
John , did have more of a clue
than the others ...
