That will be a great application but not one that would require a new PC purchase. In fact we've had VC now for years yet it still has not caught on and it's not due to hardware or software. Great many products exist in that field. Maybe what we need is more "virtual presence" rather than VC, which will require vast more bandwidth and HDTV quality. But I still don't know if it will catch on either. Maybe it has something to do with the personal touch of meeting face to face where everyone can view body language as well? I worked over the last 10 years on VC projects with companies like PTel, Zydacron, VTel, FVC, Intel etc... yet even though all the features that everyone wanted were all there, the market never really took off. Don't get me wrong, VC is being used more and more but what I'm talking about is VC on every PC.
