the evil that we witness cries out for redemption (I am not using the term in the Christian sense, but in a broader sense), and becomes a motive for believing in God and immortality...

Since I was a small child, I have always given the most positive attributes to God. He is Just,He is Kind,He is Loving. So when I think of a tragic situation as your little Jewish girl who is killed because someone else is evil...I do not wonder why God has permitted that evil but why other good men don't recognize and stop it.

I can picture God shaking His head in sadness, perhaps letting a tear fall, as He wonders why with all we have been given...we cannot stop this kind of evil, disease or pain.

Thus, regarding Karen's post, I don't feel real anger toward OBL...I feel determined, resolved and very sad.

Not thoughts that are based on deep theological knowledge but one's that come from a heart.
