Frank, here is how it is going and what I am thinking-

I've been in the broadband business for something like 7 years and I have only had high speed access to my home for a grand total of 2 months. I live in the middle of a city of about 45000 that has a dead spot for cable / dsl. With SBC putting the kibosh on project pronto, I figured I was never going to get service.

The wireless I am receiving now isn't really business class with 5 9's and a guaranteed transfer rate, but it does the job I need. I'm getting about 700k down / up on the connection which beats the hell out of the old ISDN line I had. I have only gotten dropped once, at 3 AM the night I got the service. The speed is fast enough to download drivers / aimster / file share without having to watch television for 10 minutes per meg. The latency is good enough for real time gaming.

To sum it up, I'm loving it.

Now the business plan starts :)
