I did not rationalize calling anyone traitors, etc.

If rationalization means to cause, or attempt to cause, something to seem reasonable, you rationalized the behavior when you described it as merely "intemperate" "language," "not altogether disconnected from the provocation."

The behavior is worse than mere intemperate language-choice; such language is an attempt to intimidate and silence, as you must know.

You chose the words "not altogether disconnected from the provocation," as though anything at all was ever "disconnected" from its "provocation." We are talking about tautology here, and the statement of yours either means nothing or it means the dissenters got what they deserved to some degree you don't specify, in what is a clear rationalization of the behavior of your confreres toward them.

You don't like it when your words are looked at closely. I've noticed that before. But I can not read what was in your heart, only what was in your posts. Which are not always straightforward, as in this case. "Disconnected" is a good example.

Now i'm leaving. Really. Have fun.
