That is part of it, without question.

Oliver Valente, however, and I assume his peers, prefer to manage integrated voice and data.

Realistically we are probably looking at 2 years separating DO & DV full commercialization and Valente seems inclined to wait, and that does of course relate back to the unproven demand for high speed data.
