Not sure I agree with all you said. PFE was touting their future so they might as well throw in the kitchen sink, after all it could work. I also dont think that if they had a choice inhale would have gone though the time and expense of these safty trials. you have pushed out the launch date from 12/00 (when the stock was at 100) to prob now a launch date of 2004. time value and risk profile of money being as it is being reflected in the stock price rightfully now . The results however may do what you said , measure twice.....

It seems likly now that ALL of the pipline will be subject to the safty trials, so if it works out well, the pipline of new drugs and joint ventures should be streamlined. In other words if it all works out we will have a new indusrty. If it doesnt im afraid its a tax loss from any level. Im not a real expert in biotechs though so any opinions by others more in the know would be appreciated.
