While I like that aspect of the MycoTox acquisition, I like it mostly as a substitute for a partnering deal; somebody has spent alot of days pouring over all the info to date and not found a problem. I don't think you can read anything into it regarding the current data.
I'm still confused by the 8/9 date. My understanding until now was that the adjudication panel was to be looking at blinded data, and arbitrating the clinical evaluations of any borderline cases. I did not believe that the panel was issuing a recommendation, but that after the panel was done ABTI would finish the analysis, break the blind and announce the results. Also, August 9 is a Saturday, so we should really hope the announcement isn't on 8/9.
I suspect that what they may mean is that they will break the blind on Saturday (or late Friday), which will give them all weekend to prepare, without an obligation to release. Does this jive with what they said in the letter?
BTW, thanks for the ongoing conversation, I think it's helping sort things out (at least for me).
