I never could understand how the life of killers could be held in higher esteem or have more value than the life of their prey. Something is seriously wrong and I put most of the blame on fast talking lawyers. I don't care if a killer can reform, they lost the right to exist when they took innocent life and the reforming point is not relevant to the crime. Still I suppose it keeps a big daisy chain of lawyers, psychologists, pharmacists, judges, social workers, bleeding hearts, guards and welders etc... gainfully employed at our expense.
