Of particular note is how all these groups work together (Hamas, Jihad, Fatah), how Arafat's "police" are either in on the deal or paid off, etc. None surprising if one has any imagination about what things must be like.

You don't even need imagination, just familiarity with the Israeli press, who know better than to give credence to Arafat's moderate pose as the Western papers do. From today's Jerusalem Post, a recap of recent terror attacks:

"56 percent of terror attacks have been carried out by Fatah Tanzim. Hamas carried out 23%, the PFLP 14%, and Islamic Jihad 7%."

Fatah / Tanzim are of course organizations on Arafat's own payroll.
