My point is this and you confirmed it.
No one is buying 64 or 128 but 256.
Are prices double for 128 than 64.
Are prices double for 256 than 128.
If not, who cares.
So they increase 256 orders but at the expense of what.
At the expense of 128 and 64.

Maybe they ship one 256 module instead of one 128 and one 64. That increases megabits but is totally meaningless if there is not a profit on those 256's.

Since this is what I thought I am still laughing when they have to brag about megabits sold rather than increasing profits or margins. Since PCs are using more memory these days one might assume that they were making more $ on these "extra" megabits but it does not seem so.

So what if they are shipping more megabits, if they are losing their ass on each one.
Kinda like AMZN reporting "Increased Sales" when every order costs them another dime.

In short, I could care less about increased shipments if they are not profitable.

MU is still losing their ass on every order.
They would be better off shipping NO orders rather than more megabits if they are losing there ass on megabits sold.

As Letterman says:
How do we do it "Volume Volume Volume". And we only lose .20 cents on each one.

I am still laughing at this nonsense of pro-forma BS where everything counts but what matters. Extra megabits - who the F cares? Not me. Show me the $. Show me earnings growth, NOT megabit growth. That is what I was and still am laughing at.
