TC,

That article refers to a little different key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop, which controls applications other than the web browser, I don't know which ones.

The one I want to change is at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\Smoothscroll. My (trivial) problem is that the machine forgets where I set that value, and I have to reset it manually every time I boot up. I am wondering if there is a way to reset it with a batch file that runs automatically at startup. Can a batch file do something like that?

Thanks
F
