tb,

insiders...

Rumsfeld...(leads him to place excessive confidence in missile defense).

much too soon to make that judgement...for now he wants to take a hard look at the possibilities through an initial investment in a feasibility study and a prototype for testing.

Wolfowitz dangerous if given power.

pure speculation... he has no power...he is number 2.

Bolton shouldn't be in the job he's in.

a minor player

Cheney...can probably be counted on not to do much that's really stupid.

he was brilliant in his previous positions both in government and business, where he was the man in charge...as VP he is just a bride in waiting but he is certainly capable of stepping up to the plate if necessary. his lifetime of experience and long string of previous successes make him an excellent guy to have in decision meetings.

Bush has good instincts, but doesn't know much.

he knows the most important thing is to surround himself with brilliant, experienced and respected advisors. he has done a fantastic job of assembling a winning team both locally and on a worldwide basis.
btw...that is called leadership.
and i won't even mention restoring worldwide respect to the Presidency of the United States of America.

Powell-- too cautious

not only a really smart guy respected by all of the players...Colin is always a voice of reason a pretty durn good trait for a SecState.

Haass...important antineocon player.
Perle...smart but wacky

careful...your dirty political underwear is starting to show.

outsiders...
Cohen--one of the country's top military experts. in an ideal world, would be in Wolfowitz's job, or Rumsfeld's.

Cohen already had his turn at Rumsfeld's job and blew it. surely you don't think we should revert back to the failed policies of the past 8 years.

ps...you did mean that cohen right?
