Hi Rob,

Just look back at IS-95's teething, and at 3G's teething in Tokyo and Isle of Man to see how much time and money is consumed in preparing for one city's trials and deployment.

Another complication is cell site acquisition - if Flarion's technology requires a different density than the 1.8 km PCS band radius, the economics change dramatically.

The economics of 802.16 deployment are not proved, and WLAN technology is not suitable for 'last mile'.
